Current Faves!

I think this is a really good time to post about my current favorites! Not neccesarily monthly favorites, because I dont switch things up that often…I’m pretty boring. lol

But there are a few things that have held my attention! so let me tell ya about them!

starting off with my favorite scent! Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black I have not switched it up since I’ve made this purchase…I think this is the only scent that best compliments me. Very feminine and also musky! I think what suckered me in when I was on the hunt for my signature scent was the sandalwood, also has vanilla and violet notes.

Bras are really annoying, but bralettes are everything! I can make the exception for these because they’re pretty comfortable and look really cute with some loose tanks, low cut tops, etc. Let me know if you wanna see some ootds! Love & Misadventure by Lang Leav and Dirty Pretty Things by Michael Faudet Books, I’m a sucker for poetry, and I have some kindle books on my tablet and all; and nothing beats the feeling of having an actual book in your hands. Michael Faudet and Lang Leav have been some of my favorite authors, I’m also feeling Robert M. Drake, Beau Taplin, and J.R. Rogue. 

Music! Oh man, I went to Warped Tour this summer with my lover, and his best friend. It was so cool, to see State Champs live. I was trying so hard not to look like a loser and fan girl too crazy, however seeing them play Perfect Score live was like everything. I have no idea how I managed to become so obsessed with them but mannnnnn. All I listen to is State Champs! I hope I can see them again next time they’re in Texas. 🙂

now for some beauty faves!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Sun-Dipped okay, I’ve actually been on the hunt for the That Glow kit, and settled for this little piece of GOLD! I honestly bought this as a “okay I don’t care, I just need this to live with the rest of my collection…” but OMG I love these highlights so much! Since its summertime, I’ve gotten a little tan, and gold highlights are perfect for this time of the year.

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte+Poreless and Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer these are my holy grail face products, whether I’m doing a full face makeup or light makeup for a natural look, these are my go to’s. I’ve been using these products for a little over 3 months, and when I switch it up, I always go back to my Maybelline products. For drugstore makeup, these work really well with my skin! I love them, 11/10 highly recommend.

Ardell Double Demi Wispies these lashes are the best! I love them for simple makeup days, or when I’m too lazy to do mascara. lol They’re always sold out though, I’m not gonna lie, it’s sometimes pretty hard to find these. 😦 

Maybelline Great Lash lots of lashes and Lancôme Grandiose mascaras normally the only time I wear mascara on my lower lash line or to prove that I have lashes of my own… (anyone else???) I bought the Great Lash mascara on a day that I was rushing to work and forgot to grab my falsies. Surprisingly enough, I really like the mascara, I used to use that mascara all the time back in high school! The Lancôme mascara I grabbed while I was in line to pay at Ulta, I’ve seen so many beauty gurus mention this mascara and I wanted to give it a try. love it, I use it on simple makeup days on top of my Great Lash mascara.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita and Bow n Arrow these liquid lippies live in my purse. I always reach for these, I bought back ups of both of them after trying them out. I love the formula of these liquid lipsticks, they feel so comfortable, honestly.

Jordana Easy Liner for Lips in Latte and Rock n Rose in my mind, if I’m going to talk to you about my favorite lippies, maybe I should tell you about the lip liner I think compliment them the most! Sometimes I use these liner on their own too. I’ve been really into nudes lately, I’ve been so boring, I need to play it up with some color!
